Are You a Coach Looking to Book Onto a Course/Workshop?
This is where you can find all the information on how to book on to a course/workshop as part of the England Hockey Coach Development Offer.

Details of all GB Coach Programme workshops available, including the pre-requisites to attend one of these, can be found here, the EH Sessional Coach course here and the EH Coach course here.

To find out the price of each workshop/course, as well as the discounted rate and other benefits if you have Coaching Membership, please click here. If you are thinking of booking onto the EH Coach or Sessional Course then also purchasing membership can even save you money!

Important Booking Information
Please make sure the registration is in the name of the course participant, e.g. if you are a parent booking your son/daughter onto a course, the registration must be in his/her name.

Bookings close 10 days (for workshops) or 21 days (for Sessional or EH Coach) before the workshop/course date (or when full).

Pre-workshop/course information will be emailed out after bookings close. Please ensure you check your junk folder for this information around this time.

The Sessional and EH Coach Courses are typically run between May-September.

Please note: The courses in the table below have pre-requisites that you must complete before attending:

Course Pre-requisite
Sessional Coach Course
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to provide evidence of the need for this qualification linked to current or future coaching roles
  • Have 12 months experience delivering relevant hockey sessions
  • Have attended a minimum of one workshop from the GB Coach Club Programme over the last 24 months
UKCC Coach Course
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to provide evidence of the need for this qualification linked to current or future coaching roles
  • Have 24 months experience delivering relevant hockey sessions/programmes
  • Hold one of the following:
  - A UKCC Level 1 Hockey Qualification
  - Attended six hours of England Hockey CPD over the past 24 months
  - A Teaching Qualification
  - Provide evidence of being a practicing and qualified UKCC Level 1 coach in another sport in a comparable environment

If you do not meet the criteria above but feel you hold other relevant skills and experience to gain a place on the course please DO NOT book online but download and complete the following Application Form and return to coaching@englandhockey.co.uk.
