England Hockey is committed to the area of Equity & Ethics.
Since that time, England Hockey has made great leaps in all of these areas.
EH has recently released a Code of Ethics, which will give the membership guidance and templates in this area. For more information visit the Policy section.
EH also achieved the Preliminary Level of the Equality Standard. Part of achieving this standard was to write an Equality Action Plan (EAP). EH consulted on the EAP with the hockey family, and wrote an extensive, but achievable action plan. To read the action plan, follow the link on the right hand side.
There are many other areas of work which EH give great consideration to the area of Equity and Ethics, ClubsFirst (the EH seal of approval for clubs) has a section dedicated to Equity and Ethics, and CCDP funding has been awarded to some clubs who can offer services to the wider community. These are small examples of the work we do within this area.
