    Futures Cup Welfare Manager | Oaklands College, St Albans AL4 0JA

    The Player Pathway is an integral part of EHís holistic talent development strategy. Its aims are to provide the best possible talent development environments for all players to achieve their potential. To support the delivery of Tier 2 of the England Hockey Player Pathway at Futures Cup, EH is seeking applications for a Welfare Manager. They will be part of a team responsible for delivering an event for our very best young hockey players whilst they strive to develop their skills in a high-intensity and pressurised best v best tournament environment. Everyone in hockey has a responsibility to safeguard and protect young people. The key role of the Welfare Manager is to work with the Welfare Officer and other event staff to promote good safeguarding practice across the event and to implement the event Welfare plan. The Welfare Manager will also be a named point of contact if there is a concern. If you have experience of managing young people (preferably in a residential environment), a current EH DBS check, excellent communication skills and a calm friendly and approachable disposition, we would love to hear from you.
