Ahead of this December’s Champions Trophy in Melbourne, England’s men will take on Australia in Perth, Australia, as part of the Super Series Hockey 9s.

The Perth Hockey Stadium will host the tournament from 22 to 25 November, after which England will travel to Melbourne for the Champions Trophy, in which they will face Germany, New Zealand and India.

England’s Super Series Hockey 9s participation sets up a clash against the Olympic bronze medal winning Kookaburras with a number of the Great Britain side that lost to the Australians in London likely to play.

The International Super Series is a unique and exciting concept that is played with nine players and a modified game time of 20-minute halves and larger goals to ensure plenty of action.

The second edition of the International Super Series will build on the success of last year’s event that had strong support from the Perth public.

Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster from 17 September 2012. Visit www.ticketmaster.com.au to book yours.
