IMHA World Cup Report- Barcelona 035 Women beat Sri Lanka

England 35s women continued their World Cup campaign with a convincing 10.0 win against Sri Lanka.

England started the scoring in the first quarter with Jo Ellis being set up for a reverse stick shot by Katie Miller. Three more goals followed in the first quarter through Nic George, Yvette Van Yperen and a further for Jo Ellis.

The second quarter saw further goals through Yvette Van Yperen and Nic George.

The third quarter saw some resilient defending from the Sri Lankan team and a penalty stroke saved by the Sri Lankan goalkeeper.

England sealed the victory late on with goals from Lizzy Wheelhouse, Sarah Cockayne and Vikki Gill. Nic George also found the back of the net to claim her hat trick.
