Masters' International Season Underway.

The Masters' Men's 040 and 050 are competing in the frst tournament of the year in Swansea hoping to win the Home Nations Tournament.  All the sixteen Masters' teams will be starting there 2019 campaign over the next month in the annual competition against the Home Nations.

The 050s opened their account with a nervous win against Wales.

England won their opening game though struggled at times to break down a gritty Wales team.  With a number of changes from last year, and a late withdrawal on the eve of the tournament, England went into the game with a great deal of anticipation.  A number of circle penetrations did not yield results and 15 penalty corners did not bear any fruit.  An area of the game to work on.

With the score being a scoreless draw at half time England eventually broke the deadlock with an open play goal.  With Wales threatening on the break England needed a second goal which game in the fourth quarter from Kevin Miller.  The game finished 2-0 with plenty to work on in the following games.
