News - DBS Cost Change

From 1st September 2020, the cost of a DBS will be increasing to £8.80 for volunteers.

Welcome to SafeD – England Hockey’s Safeguarding Young People Policy and Guidance documents. 

SafeD replaces Proud to Protect and has been updated to reflect current legislation and best practice guidance.

The 2020/21 'Call to Action document is now available to view by clicking on the link above. It contains a set of minimum standards for clubs to sign up to in regards to the welfare of players under 18 years old. The document shows what the standards are and contains useful links that will show your club how to meet each standard. 

'Play it Safe' Newsletter
The Ethics and Welfare Team release a regular newsletter called 'Play it Safe'. It contains useful information in regards safeguarding, useful links from other organisations and updates on the latest training opportunities.
