There is a new way to play hockey! Rush Hockey is fast, friendly and seriously good fun. It is five-a-side and can be played indoors or outdoors. Easy to set up with only a few simple rules, Rush Hockey aims to get people playing quickly.

Do you know players who want to play hockey but cannot commit to a team? The informal nature of Rush Hockey means players can get their hockey fix at times to suit them - it does not have to be the same players each week!

Your club can increase its appeal by offering more, different opportunities to play. Rush Hockey can help to attract new players who do not necessarily want to play 11-a-side hockey. Pay-and-play sessions can also be a great source of income.

Rush Hockey is all about playing games in a smaller space, so no need for coaches or full pitch hire. The smaller goals also mean there is no need for goalkeepers.

It is social. The larger, lighter ball allows mixed genders and abilities to play together so it is a great way for players to come together and meet others. You can add to this by inviting the players to the club's social activities.

Equipment to play Rush Hockey is available from our shop HERE. To allow best value you can use existing sticks, with the bigger, lighter Quicksticks balls that can be used on any surface. Players who are new to the game have told us they are easier to control and less intimidating than traditional hockey balls.

The smaller lightweight, compact and portable multi functional goal from, incorporates a patented flexi post design. This goal can be assembled and dismantled in less than 2 minutes and folds down to store in a carry bag measuring 1000mm x 300mm x 150mm.
