On Saturday 19th May hockey lovers from across the country will gather to celebrate the achievements of volunteers, umpires, coaches and players over the past year at the England Hockey Awards Dinner 2018.

Nominations are open NOW and until 3 April. Put forward who you think deserves to win an award here.

Last year's event moved to the Athena in Leicester and was bigger than ever before. The dinner saw 13 awards in total handed out, including the four Performance Player trophies. Some awards were adapted from previous years to make them more inclusive and you can find the award criteria here.

The award winners were:
  • Notts Sport Club of the Year - Caradon Hockey Club
  • Perkins Slade Men's Team of the Year - Wimbledon 1st
  • Investec Women's Team of the Year - Camberley and Farnborough 1st
  • Unsung Club Hero - Frances Loffler-Thompson
  • Celixir Men's Senior Performance Player - Dan Fox
  • Men's Junior Performance Player - James Gall
  • Investec Women's Senior Performance Player - Sophie Bray
  • Investec Women's Junior Performance Player - Ellie Rayer
  • Coach of the Year - Danny Kerry
  • Lifetime Achievement - Alan Walker
  • Umpire of the year - Joy Elliot-Bowman
  • Rising Star - Tom Ling from Norwich HC
  • Innovation - Bromsgrove HC with Walking Hockey
  • Hockey Maker of the Year - Angela Mance
