There are a range of teacher training opportunities available from free workshops for those new to the game to the Hockey Hub as an online resource and our coaching pathway.
Free Teacher Training
Through TeamUp and with support from Wembley National Stadium Trust, we are able to run a number of free Teacher Training Workshops across London.
 
For both primary and secondary teachers, teaching assistants or sports teachers with little or no hockey delivery experience or those wishing to increase their confident. The workshops will provide;
   •Ideas and tips on delivering fun and engaging sessions.
   •Confidence in planning safe and fun sessions that encourage implicit learning.
   •Information about equipment and resources which make session delivery simple.
   •A grasp of hockey in its current form and how it can be played at any level.

The Hockey Hub is your free one-stop shop, packed full of useful resources for teachers, coaches and umpires. Whether you work with beginners or young talented players, there is relevant content available to suit your needs. You can watch bite-sized video or download activity cards to take to your sessions.
