Current Vacancies

England Hockey is recruiting for an Office Administration Manager to provide a professional and efficient front of house and administration services, including all aspects of office management. 

The Office Administration Manager will be the first point of contact for all visitors and will also have significant interaction with the wider office; working closely with the HR Manager, to ensure that the office environment is conducive to a welcoming, engaging environment for everyone. 

The role will be varied, providing diary management and ad-hoc support for the Executive Office, managing ad-hoc office projects and supporting the wider business. 

The Office Administration Manager will engage with all EH customers, clients, employees, consultants, athletes and other stakeholders, either face to face or on the telephone. It is there imperative that the first impression is one of professionalism, pride, courtesy and composure. 

We are looking for individuals with previous experience in an office management role, including administration, facilities and reception, strong customer service skills and excellent interpersonal skills. If you have the relevant experience and skills, are solutions focused and have a calm, friendly and welcoming demeanour, we would love to hear from you. 

Will consider a minimum of 25hrs or a job share for the right applicants.

Clubs Officer - Closing Date: Monday 4th February 2019

England Hockey is recruiting for a Clubs Officer to support the development of hockey clubs and ultimately grow the game of Hockey. 

The Clubs Officer will be responsible for leading on key projects, supporting the National Manager and working closely with Sport England, England Hockey Relationship Managers, Clubs and other partners and stakeholders. 

The Clubs Officer will have the opportunity to develop new ideas around support for clubs and manage projects from inception to delivery.

We are looking for individuals with previous sports development experience and a proven track record of successfully managing projects.  If you have the relevant experience, are an excellent communicator with the ability to influence, build and maintain effective relationships, are creative and innovative, we would love to hear from you.

Business Development Manager - Closing Date: Monday 4th February 2019

Having won medals at the London and Rio Olympics and with the FIH Pro League to look forward to in 2019, this is an amazing time to be part of the sport of Hockey.  England Hockey is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to shape and implement England Hockey's sales and sponsorship strategies and generate commercial growth across the business.

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • managing all sponsorship, hospitality and other corporate sales activities to ensure revenue targets are met and exceeded
  • managing the sales pipeline, monitoring, reviewing and reporting effectively
  • working with other England Hockey departments to maximise revenue opportunities across the business
  • delivering agreed income targets

We are looking for individuals with proven sales experience, ideally in a rights-holder environment, a track record of achieving challenging sales targets and the ability to build and deliver engaging and compelling sponsorship presentations.  If you have the relevant experience, are driven, resilient, motivated to achieve and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
