Futures Cup Placement Opportunity (Voluntary) - Bisham Abbey NSC, Marlow, Bucks, SL7 1RR

Closing Date: 5:00pm, 30th March 2018


The Futures Cup Placement will be within the Player Pathway Team which is part of the Performance Department at England Hockey.

Futures Cup is our show case event for the best U15 and U17 hockey players in Great Britain. Run by England Hockey, this 4 day international event is the culmination of the Player Pathway cycle.

The Futures Cup Placement will work closely with the Player Pathway Manager and the rest of the team to deliver Futures Cup. This four day residential international event brings together U15 and U17 girls and boys teams from England, Scotland and Wales in a best v best competition.

The event has a competition venue and an athlete village and offers our best young hockey players an experience of many aspects of international competition.

Player Pathway Internship - closing date 30th March 2018

The Player Pathway Internship will be within the Player Pathway Team which is part of the Performance Department at England Hockey.

The Player Pathway Intern will work closely with the Player Pathway Manager and the rest of the team to develop new projects, programmes and systems to support the development of the England Hockey Player Pathway.

Working with a wide variety of stakeholders the role will require a reliable and confident individual who is a good communicator and who can work well with a variety of people.

The England Hockey Player Pathway supports the development and talent identification of approximately 18,000 young hockey players.

Our Development and Academy Centres are run by our county associations and we support them to deliver a high quality programme of training and competition.

Our Performance Centre programme is run by our regional associations. There are 17 Performance Centres across the country providing frequent high quality training and competition for the top 10% of U15 and U17 hockey players in each gender. England Hockey support and develop this environment striving to continually increase quality.
