Coach Development Programme for Teachers

Feedback received from the Schools Conference in June 2017 asked England Hockey to provide further development opportunities for school teachers & coaches, where hockey is a priority at their school. As such we have put together a selection of development opportunities for those who want to continue their personal development and inspire more, better, happier players.
Facilitated Observation
 
What is it?
The opportunity to observe an AASE session (Advanced Apprenticeship in Sport), in the presence of a GB Coach Developer who will provide real time explanations of the why, what and how is happening on the pitch, along with answering questions from observers.
 
When is it?
5th April 2018 from 11.00-14.00 at Lilleshall National Sports Centre
 
How can I book on?

Coaching Workshops
 
What is it?
Be one of the first to attend the new GB Coaching Club Programme focused on "What to Coach" Attacking.
 
Coaches will share practice design ideas that invite lots of opportunities for the players to take the best option to go forward and score.  This workshop will bring to life the link between Principles and Development Themes and further highlight what coaches should prioritise in their sessions to create effective decision makers.
 
When is it?
14th May 2018 from 10.00-13.00 at Taunton Hockey Club
15th May 2018 from 10.00-13.00 at Nottingham Hockey Centre
 
How can I book on?

Schools Conference
 
What is it?
Taking place at the Vitality Hockey Womens World Cup, with key note speakers, workshops and tickets to watch two International games.
 
When is it?
31st July 2018 at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre
