***Due to Covid-19 the Summer Champs 2020 have been cancelled. We will look to resume Summer activity in 2021. The details below relate to 2020 but hopefully give you a picture of the competitions we offer.***
7-a-side Masters Summer Championships (Men’s & Women's Over 50s)

Who? – Men’s and Women’s teams made up of players over the appropriate age limit* (Over 50s).

What? – 7-a-side festival competitions with regionalised qualifiers and a national final. Enter a qualifier venue of your choice (pick one based on location or date – whichever suits you best) Successful teams will qualify for the national finals. This format encourages lots of matches with less demand for your time.

Where? – Hosted at neutral venues. The qualifiers will take place at Alderley Edge HC (14 June) and Reading HC (28 June). The Finals will be hosted at Oxford Hawks HC (19 July).

When? The qualifiers will be hosted in June – Sunday 14th & Sunday 28th. Successful teams will then be invited to the finals, to be played on Sunday 19th July.

How much will it cost? – £40.00 per team entry into the qualifiers. Clubs may enter as many teams as they like, they are not limited to one per gender or age group. Successful qualifiers will then have a secondary fee of £20.00 to contribute towards the running of the finals.

How do we enter? – Entry is via the England Hockey Competition Management System (CMS). The same system used for the regular season EH Championships.

What happens next?
Once entries close, England Hockey will be in touch with all entrants to share further details such as; Competition Information Pack, draws, schedules, regulations, contact details. In the meantime, feel free to drum up the interest within your areas or read up on last year’s regulations in the related links & documents section. We look forward to an exciting summer of hockey, both at home and in Tokyo!

*In the age group Masters Championships you may play up to 2 players within 5 years below the age category, so long as they have not represented England Masters.
