2019 U16 Junior Club Championships Tier 1 Finals
England Hockey's 2019 National Finals continue with the U14s and U18s Club Championship Finals at Reading Hockey Club on the 11-12 May.

Tickets can be purchased here. We recommend purchasing in advance as ticket prices on the day will be increased by 10%. When purchasing your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with your ‘Print at Home’ tickets attached. Please print these and bring them with you to get access to the venue. Spectator Parking
Priority parking is available for £10 per car, which enables purchasers to park on-site at Reading Hockey Club at the below address.

Getting there
The venue address is:

Driving: the quickest route off the M4 is junction 10, following the A329 (M) then the A3290. Then turn right onto London Road, then turn left onto Sonning Lane. Use postcode RG4 6ST for sat-navs.

Public transport: Reading train station is the closest main station, approximately 3.5miles to Reading Hockey Club. A taxi will take approximately 15mins and it is an hour walk from the station along the London/A4 Road. Winnersh Triangle train station (Reading /London route) is 1.9miles (9min taxi/ 30min walk). 

Buses are also available from Reading train station (the bus stop is opposite the train station by Starbucks). Number 14 (Orange) will take you to the BP/M&S roundabout (10mins walk from Reading Hockey Club). For you return, all the Reading buses that go past Reading Hockey Club go into town and to the train station.  From the centre of Reading the 128 also goes up to the BP/M&S roundabout and the 850 (High Wycombe bus) goes along the A4 past Sonning Lane.

Buses 127 & 129 go through Sonning Village, but they will be less frequent over the weekend.

Match-Day Experience
Reading Hockey Club will have a good variety of hot and cold catering on offer throughout the day, including oven cooked pizzas, BBQ, sausage and bacon butties, salads, sandwiches, ice creams.  The Clubhouse Bar, Wine Bar and the Hungry Hut will be open all weekend.

Fancy picking up a stick and giving hockey a go? Reading Hockey Club will be putting on an ‘Activity-Zone’ for ALL AGES with a series of hockey-based games for those keen to get involved. There will also be other activities to keep you entertained between matches, including face painting (show your support with your club logo) and opportunities to win exciting prizes in the raffle.

Please note: Card payment facilities are available in the clubhouse bar and catering however please bring cash for the outside catering. The nearest cash machine is a 10-minute walk at the BP garage on the A4.

There is ample seating available on Pitch 1, with plenty of standing areas on both Pitch 1 and Pitch 2.  There are grass areas between the two pitches to seat picnic chairs.  

Spectator Gates Open at 9am on Saturday and 8:30am on Sunday.
