This is an accreditation for those who umpire in the regional programmes inclusive of JRPCs, any regional leagues and tournaments and the later rounds of national competitions (e.g. Round 3 of the National Cup etc).
About the Award
This Award is based on assessment in the Regional Programmes - Leagues, Tournament Finals, Cup Games, Junior Representative games etc. (e.g. Regional U18s or U21s) BUCS Championships or any other games measured to be of the required standard.
The Level 2 Award (accreditation) is administered and delivered by the regions – the Regional Hockey Umpiring Associations each have a Regional Level 2 Umpiring Co-ordinator and clubs, county associations and Level 1 umpires looking to progress to the next level are required to contact their Co-ordinator when looking to register as a candidate or arrange assessment.
Level 2 Umpires who officiate at the top of the Regional Programmes are eligible for assessment in the National Programme (as Level 3 Candidate Umpires).
