The England Hockey Board and Great Britain Hockey’s Official Partner and Supplier Programme enables businesses to align themselves with world-class success, reach a new AB-biased audience and deliver CSR agendas through grassroots initiatives.
As part of our strategic plans to grow the sport, income from the Official Partner and Supplier Programme is reinvested to help attract and retain more people in hockey, help our clubs and associations to develop and thrive and to help deliver our international teams to the podium at the biggest tournaments.
Hockey is the premier Olympic team sport - at London 2012, 630,000 spectators will watch hockey matches at the Olympic Park, the second most watched sport on Olympic Park after athletics.
It is the only team sport to be played in both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.
Our resurgent national teams are genuine medal contenders for London 2012.
Hockey is receiving increasing TV exposure with 1.2bn watching the England v India Commonwealth Games semi-final in 2010 and BBC televising the 2011 European Championships and 2012 Women’s Champions Trophy with over 1.5m unique viewers.
There are 960 clubs in England with over 100K adults participating – the most equal gender split of any major sport and a clear AB demographic.
We boast an exciting future with 12,000 children in the junior athlete development system.
We are ambitiously pursuing opportunities to bring major international tournaments to this country and have won the bid to host the European Championship in 2015.
