Liam Sanford

Sanford started his career at Wycombe HC, just down the road from the Great Britain training base at Bisham Abbey. A move west followed as he embarked on a career for the RAF, joining Bath Buccaneers at the same time. Sanford's hockey flourished and he was a key part of the U21 set up including representing the squad in the victorious Sultan of Johor side and the 2016 World Cup. Liam is part of the Armed Services Elite Athlete scheme, meaning he is given leave to train as a world class athlete alongside his military duties.
