Flyerz

Fun and friendly sessions inclusive of all abilities and ages. Flyerz Hockey enables disabled and non-disabled players to play together

SHARE

Flyerz Hockey is the name widely associated with grassroots disability inclusive hockey in England. All our Flyerz Clubs are friendly and inclusive, welcoming disabled and non-disabled people of all ages and abilities as well as their families. The sessions and equipment are adapted to ensure inclusivity of any disability and long-term health condition.

Flyerz Hockey is continually growing with more and more clubs offering this format of the game. You can find your nearest Flyerz Hockey club by using our Find a Club search.

We recommend speaking to the club ahead of your first session as they can answer any questions you have, along with hearing a bit more about you so they can provide you with the best hockey experience.

Check out the video below from the West Midlands Flyerz Festival to see Flyerz in action and hear why players and families love it! The festival was delivered by Midland Mencap in partnership with Access Sport and England Hockey and took place in Birmingham to celebrate the Commonwealth Games.

Access Sport

Access Sport is a charity meeting the urgent need to improve children and young people’s health and wellbeing, working solely with young people in deprived communities and with a strong emphasis on young disabled people.

We are working in collaboration with Access Sport to grow the number of Flyerz Clubs, improve wellbeing and increase access and opportunity for disabled people to join the hockey family.
