Marketing Manager - Closing Date: 30th April 2019

England Hockey (EH) is recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join its commercial team.  Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership, development and management of EH's marketing function.  The primary focus will be to grow revenue streams, notably tickets, hospitality and retail.  Shaping our sales and marketing strategy and developing a robust CRM strategy are also key priorities.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive cultural change in the business to develop a more brand, insight and marketing led environment.

We are looking for individuals who have proven experience of developing and implementing strategic consumer sales and marketing plans, strong digital marketing experience, budget management capability and experience of market segmentation, data management and targeted marketing.

Clubs & Facilities Assistant - Closing Date: 30th April 2019

England Hockey is recruiting for a Clubs & Facilities Assistant to join the Clubs & Facilities Team.  We are prepared to be flexible on the hours for the right person, but would be looking for a minimum of 25 hours per week.

We are looking for individuals who have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be the main contact for all our clubs, facility providers, funding providers and other national governing bodies.  First class attention to detail is key to ensure information and documentation provided to the team and to our clubs is accurate, timely and relevant.

Providing excellent administrative support to the national manager and the team, you will take responsibility for team meeting arrangements, as well as supporting activities such as Hockeyfest, Clubmark, Club conferences and our Annual Awards Dinner.  This is a varied and rewarding role with no two days the same and the opportunity to get involved with club projects is

P/T Workforce Administrator - Closing Date: 26th April 2019

England Hockey is recruiting for a part-time Workforce Administrator (20 hours per week) to join the Workforce Team.

Reporting to the Workforce Training and Development Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing an effective administration service to a range of stakeholders involved in the recruitment, retention, training and development of coaches and officials.

We are looking for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be the main contact for all stakeholders, providing advice and information, primarily by telephone.   Providing first class customer service and administration support is key, assisting clubs, schools and universities to organise coaching courses and officiating qualification and umpiring courses.   You will also take responsibility for administering the registration and accreditation/certification processes for course participants; liaising with third party accreditation providers as necessary.

If you have the relevant experience, a keen eye for detail, strong customer service skills with a propensity to look for opportunities to enhance the customer experience, we would love to hear from you.


Futures Cup Placement - Closing Date: 12 April 2019

England Hockey is offering a work placement from 8th July through to 25th August to support Futures Cup.  This placement will be within the Player Pathway Team, which is part of the Performance Department at England Hockey.

Futures Cup is our showcase event for the best U15 and U17 hockey players in Great Britain.  Run by England Hockey, this 4-day international event in the culmination of the Player Pathway cycle.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Player Pathway Manager and the rest of the team to deliver the event, which brings together U15 and U17 girls and boys teams from England Scotland and Wales in a best v best competition.  The venue and athlete village offers our best young hockey players an experience of many aspects of international competition.

We are looking for individuals who are currently undertaking a relevant degree in a sports related subject, who have a keen interest in and/or knowledge of hockey.  You will need excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to balance conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.  We are particularly interested in those applicants who are solutions focused and able to demonstrate creativity to help make the next Futures Cup the best ever.
