It is important that clubs and associations have the right agreements and processed in place when appointing coaches, managers and administrators.

This will ensure that the roles are genuinely self employed ones and protect clubs and associations from investigation by HMRC. England Hockey has worked with its professional advisors to put together a number of resources and templates which can be used. These include:

  • Questionnaires to establish the roles are genuinely self employed
  • Template contracts for a variety of club and single system roles
  • A Frequently Asked Questions guide to help clubs and Associations.
