Schools Get Involved! Summer of Hockey 2024 Awaits
Your school, hockey and Olympic inspiration. What a winning combination!
Calling all teachers... England Hockey's Summer of Hockey 2024 can help you get your pupils excited about hockey, celebrate the Olympics, and inspire a new generation of players. We've got interactive resources packed with fun activities, a "Buddy Up" initiative to connect you with local hockey clubs plus a chance to win some fantastic prizes along the way.
Join Jess & Jasper on an Epic Hockey Adventure!
As part of our goal to get more 5–11-year-olds moving this summer, we’ve created a fun, interactive activity booklet that you can use in lessons to assist learning. Through active play, we'll be introducing the stars of the Great Britain men’s and women’s teams to school children, inspiring them to learn lifelong skills through hockey.
Our resources set a range of fun challenges and activities, to help grow skills, confidence and experience through physical literacy. Use them within a range of school subjects or simply share with pupils to enjoy with their families at home.
‘Buddy up’ with your Local Hockey Club
Fancy 'buddying up' with a local club to help deliver hockey to your pupils?
We have challenged clubs to spread the love of hockey throughout their local state primary schools, through various opportunities. So, whether you have plans to add hockey to your national curriculum or want some extra help and support delivering hockey experiences to your pupils, put your school forward and get involved.
Extra Support for Schools
Not a state Primary School? Don’t worry, you can still use the booklet, find a local club, and access free training, guidance, and resources through Hockey Hub.
