England U16s v Scotland

England’s under 16s travel to Glasgow this bank holiday weekend to play two matches against Scotland.

At the end of what has been a very difficult week for England’s young internationals following the tragic news that under 16 girls’ teammate Emma Broad passed away in her sleep last weekend, the girls and boys teams will play Scotland on Sunday and Monday afternoons.

As a mark of respect, the players will observe a minute’s silence before Sunday’s first match and will wear black ribbons on their shirts in memory of Emma.

The under 16 girls play at 14:45 on Sunday and 10:00 on Monday while the boys play immediately after each of those games, at 16:15 on Sunday and 12:00 on Monday.

Results and reports from the matches will be available from the England Hockey international results page at the end of each day.
