England Hockey League

Following a successful 2025/26 season, England Hockey is pleased to welcome eight new teams for the 2026/27 campaign.

In the Premier Division, Bowdon return after just one season in Division One North, while Exeter University, champions of Division One South, will compete in the topflight for the first time.

In Division One North, Leek secure promotion after only one season in Conference North, while Leeds make an immediate return following a one-year absence.

In Division One South, Clifton Robinsons, champions of Conference West, and Hampstead & Westminster 2s, champions of Conference East, are both new to this level.

The remaining eight new teams are the Area League champions, who will compete in the Conferences:

• Brooklands Manchester University 2s (Northwest)
• Sheffield University Bankers (Yorkshire & Northeast)
• Nottingham Trent University (Midlands)
• Blueharts (East)
• Richmond 2s (London)
• Oxted 2s (Southeast)
• Bristol Firebrands (West)
• Trojans (South Central)

Player Consent Reminder

We have made an important change to how we manage consent for displaying player names on England Hockey website team sheets. This change is effective from the 2025/26 season onwards.

All players are encouraged to log in to the Game Management System (GMS) and ensure that their personal details and consent preferences are up to date.
