From the 5-7 July, England's U18 girls played three matches against Ireland in preparation for the European Championships in Dublin later this month.

This was the England girls' first international fixture since the Easter Four Nations Tournament, which saw them again playing in Lilleshall, and was part of a series of nine Test matches against Ireland, Belgium and Germany over the next three weeks.

Playing all three matches in Lilleshall over the course of three days, England won their first and last games, drawing the second after a tough Irish side forced them to remain defensive*.

England’s Head Coach Andy Bradshaw said he was 'pleased with the girls' performance, with progress being made over the weekend' ahead of their next test series against Belgium starting on Friday 12th July.
