St Georges take Girls' U14 National Schools title

St George's beat Cranleigh 1-0 in an all-Surrey final to retain the Girls' U14 Schools title at Lee Valley. The only goal of the final came in the first minute when Alice Grainger finished off a flowing move down the left hand side of the pitch. Both teams created chances in an exciting final but could not find a second goal. Blundells took the bronze medals thanks to a Millie Atwell goal, two minuters from the end of their game with GSAL  

Pool A final standings
Cranleigh took top spot with two wins and a draw. They beat Framlingham 4-1 and Repton 1-0 and drew 1-1 with Blundells. Blundells also beat Repton 1-0 but were held 0-0 by Framlingham to end two points behind Cranleigh.

Pool B
In a repeat of U16 Pool D the top two in Pool B came down to the final group game as St George’s and GSAL took on each other to decide first and second place. St George's won this 2-0 to reach the final. Both teams had won their previous two games against King's Taunton and Oundle.
