Men's League fixtures for 2015-16 announced

Wimbledon celebrate winning the title

With the domestic season coming hot on the heels of an exciting summer of international hockey, the fixtures for the men's league have now been released, with some mouth-watering clashes all set for the opening day on 13 September.

Champions Wimbledon have a tough start as they travel north to face Brooklands MU. There are also two local derby games to start the campaign as newly-promoted Holcombe take on Canterbury whilst Beeston will be given their usual tough examination at Chase Park by old foes Cannock. Cup Winners Reading are at home to Hampstead and Westminster whilst Surbiton play host to East Grinstead in what promises to be another hum-dinger on the opening day. 26 September is a date to look out for as Wimbledon take on East Grinstead in a repeat of last year's play off final. 

Bath Buccaneers, winners of the west conference last time out play host to Sussex outfit Chichester who have moved across from the East Conference. runners-up Cardiff will take on Guildford, whilst Isca, who return to the conference open with a home game against Fareham.

Southgate, relegated from the Premier Division to the East start out with a trip to West Herts whilst the all-Kent clash between last year's runners up Bromley and Beckenham and newly-promoted Sevenoaks is one of two exciting derby matches to start the season. The other between Cambridge City and Harleston Magpies.

North Conference winners Bowdon will travel to Durham University first up whilst Sheffield Hallam, the runners up last season play host to promoted outfit Preston. The other promoted side, Lichfield are also away from home, making the trip to Deeside Ramblers.
