Home Nations International Tournament 2016

This was the Inaugural year of the Ladies Ov60 age group at the Home Internationals.

As this was the first time 60s teams have played Scotland donated the Caledonian Quiach - Scottish for friendship cup - a beautiful pewter bowl. This Quaich will be played for between England and Scotland as well as the Home International title even when other Nations have joined the age group - the same as the Calcutta Cup is played for in Rugby.

The team played Scotland twice and won both games 4-0 and 5-0 so becoming holders of the Cup and winners of the Ov60s home Internationals.

Both games were hard fought one in sunshine and the other on the Sunday in the pouring rain!

We are very lucky to have such good opponents on the field and just as importantly good friends off the field.

A huge thank you to Scotland for hosting the tournament.
