The England Masters world is expanding!

England Hockey is looking to run Men’s and Women’s Over 35s teams in 2018 and is seeking applications for the positions of head coaches to the squads and people to join the selection panel. See attached details and application forms

In addition we are looking for players who want the opportunity to be part of the launch of a Women’s Masters’ 065 Squad.

It was agreed at the recent annual meeting of the Masters’ Chairs of Selectors, to work towards a full international squad at Women’s 065s.  As part of that development we are inviting women aged 65 or over to join a pilot to ascertain the viability of an England 065 squad.

In the initial stages it will be an open invitation for anyone who will be 65 or over in 2018 to attend hockey days with a chance to play with and against other like-minded players.

These hockey days will not be, in any way, an England trial and no selection will be included in the pilot.

However, If the pilot is successful then England Hockey are happy to include Women’s 065s in the International programme moving forwards, under the same regulations that govern our existing 13 international masters squads.  This may even include an opportunity to take part in the World Cup in Spain in the summer of 2018.

If you are interested in this opportunity please complete the ‘Register of Interest Form’ and return  by September 8th 2017 to

Further information about the pilot with dates and venues etc, will be sent by the end of September.

If you require any further information prior to registering your interest please contact or call 07966 305857 to speak to Steve Floyd, England Hockey Masters’ Programme Manager.
