Your nominations from the weekend's action continue to fly in and here is your England Hockey Team of the Week. Thank you once again for all of your fantastic suggestions.

Those selected include a goalkeeper making their 100th consecutive league appearance and a 15-year-old scoring on his first team debut!

Name: Alison Hunt
Club: Leyland & Chorley
Nomination: Alison started out through Back To Hockey in 2012 having not played for 17 years and, after returning to the game, has played every single first team league game since. At the weekend Alison made her 100th consecutive appearance! 


Name: Jamie Hooper
Club: London Royals
Nomination: To mark Rainbow Laces week we have chosen diversity champion and guest blogger this week Jamie Hooper. Jamie plays for London Royals and is also an umpire and makes part of our ‘Stonewall’. Read his blog on the Rainbow Laces campaign and hockey by clicking here.

Name: Bill Greenwood
Club: Kettering
Nomination: Bill played for Kettering Men’s 4th XI at the weekend before umpiring and on Sunday was 'Player of the Match' at left back in a 1-0 cup win. Bill is 81! 

Name: Liam Sanford
Club: England
Nomination: Liam played superbly in England’s hard-fought draw with Australia at the Hockey World League Finals. He epitomised the dogged determination England showed in defence and despite the game being played on Monday we feel that Liam’s performance was definitely worthy of making the side!


Name: Thomas Stidwill
Club: Chertsey Thames Valley Hockey Club 
Nomination:  Tom made his first team debut for Chertsey on Saturday in their 7-0 win over Leatherhead. In the closing minutes Tom went through against the 'keeper and kept his cool to mark an impressive debut with a goal!

Name: Barry Middleton
Club: England 
Nomination: What more can we say! Barry made his 400th international appearance on Monday and if that can’t get you into our Team of the Week we’re not sure what else can! Congratulations to the legend that is Barry Middleton!

Name: Olivia Flanagan
Club: Barnes HC
Nomination: 13-year-old Olivia played in her first adult hockey match and dominated the play against much more experienced players. Well done Olivia!


Name: Gemma Newson-Smith
Club: Wimborne Wayfarers HC
Nomination: Gemma scored TEN goals at the weekend in her team’s 11-1 win! Her nominator simply saying she was on fire! 

Name: Jonathan Rider
Club: Sonning HC
Nomination: Jonathan stepped up to play in attack at the weekend for the first time and scored twice for Sonning in their 2-0 win. Jonathan usually plays in defence and showed up the strikers this weekend!

Name: Hannah Tjon Soei Len
Club: Burton Hockey Club
Nomination: Aged 13, Hannah has been playing adult hockey for less than a year and scored five goals for the second XI in their 9-0 win and was of course named 'Player of the Match'!

Name: Sam Ward
Club: England 
Nomination: Wardy was at the double for England in their 3-2 win over India at the Hockey World League Finals. He hit the winner three minutes from time with a thunderous strike!
