How they qualified...

Investec Women’s Premier Division

Position: 1st
Last season: 1st
Surbiton’s women secured top spot for a fourth consecutive season and will head to Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre looking to win their fifth Investec Women’s Premier Division title in a row.

Position: 2nd
Last season: 2nd
Victory over the University of Birmingham in their final league match ensured second for Holcombe for a second successive season. After making it all the way to the final last year before losing 3-1 to Surbiton there will be even greater determination from the Kent side to go one better this time out.

East Grinstead
Position: 3rd
Last season: 3rd
It’s been a stop start season for EG who finished in third on the final weekend thanks to other results going their way. Three back to back home wins in a row in February and March gave them a late push and this proved to be enough for the West Sussex side.

Position: 4th
Last season: Promoted
It’s been an incredible season for Buckingham. After promotion to the Investec Women’s Premier Division last season they will be at League Finals weekend in their first season back in the top flight. They claimed fourth spot in dramatic fashion as they scored in the final minute to beat Surbiton on Saturday before securing a 3-1 win over Bowdon on Sunday.

Men’s Hockey Premier Division

Position: 1st
Last Season: 1st
For a second consecutive season Wimbledon have finished top of the Men’s Hockey Premier Division and will hope to go on and take the league title on Finals Day. It was a mixed start to the campaign for the club but a 14-match unbeaten run starting back in November saw them soar up the league table.

Position: 2nd
Last Season: 3rd
Defending champions Surbiton will be back at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre for League Finals Day to retain their crown. With the race for the top four going down to the wire the side from Sugden Road held their nerve to win their final two league matches in style and with 69 goals for the campaign were the league’s top scorers.

Position: 3rd
Last Season: 5th
Beeston will contest at League Finals for the first time since 2015 after an impressive campaign which saw them enter their last league match with a chance of finish in top spot. However defeat to Surbiton saw them slide to third, but they will head to London on the 28 April full of confidence after 12 league wins this season.

Hampstead & Westminster
Position: 4th
Last Season: 4th
Hampstead and Westminster’s fine form in March saw them take the final spot for League Finals with four impressive wins in their final four matches. The run started with a 5-4 win at home to Surbiton before going on to defeat Beeston, Sevenoaks and Canterbury. They tasted defeat at the semi-final stage last year and will no doubt be looking to better this and reach the final.
