How did Sevenoaks get to the Finals?
The Kent-based side make a welcome return to Finals day – having missed out last season after making the semi-finals the two years previous – by finishing third in Men’s Premier Division.

They were particularly strong in the opening stages of qualification, winning each of their first five matches, including beating last year’s finalists Team Bath Buccaneers 5-3 as well as semi-final opponents Surbiton.

Who will they play in the semi-final?
Sevenoaks will face Surbiton in their semi-final clash at 14:15, knowing they can beat the 2017 champions having overcome them 5-4 in qualifications thanks in part to a Rufus McNaught-Barrington double.

Qualification goalscorers
Joe Naughalty (13), Rufus McNaught-Barrington (10), David Smith (6), George Torry (4), Nick Barker (2), Duncan Parnis (1).

Players to watch
Joe Naughalty scored in every match in the Men’s Premier Division, bagging 13 in total - including two braces and one hat-trick - and is certainly expected to carry that form into the event at the Copper Box.

The experience and reliability of 37-year-old David Smith, who himself scored six times on his side’s way to the Finals, will also be vital to Sevenoaks’ hopes of toppling Surbiton and making it to the final.

Did you know?
Sevenoaks’ will be hoping to exact revenge on a Surbiton side that beat them on their last semi-final appearance back in 2017, with six players who featured that day expected to play this year as well.
