England Reign in Rouen

England's women took four points from their two matches at the EuroHockey Indoor Nations Challenge in France on Saturday.

After Swedish goalkeeper Sara Pettersson had saved Chloe Rogers' first minute penalty stroke Chloe Strong's 15th minute penalty corner gave England the lead in game one.  Julia Hallberg's penalty corner five minutes into the second half levelled things for Sweden and despite a last minute penalty corner, England could not find the winning goal.

Later in the day, England made sure of they stayed top of the pool with a dominant 8-2 victory over Croatia.

Chloe Rogers' four goals helped England to a convincing win along with goals from Natalie Seymour, Beckie Herbert and Chloe Strong.

The result leaves England with just Turkey to play at 0900hrs GMT on Sunday morning for promotion to the second tier of European competition.
