England to meet Hockeyroos in semi

England's women will play Australia in the first of the Commonwealth Games semi finals after the Australians beat Scotland and hosts India produced a storming first half to beat South Africa 3-1.

Coupled with England's 3-0 win over Malaysia earlier in the day, the results mean that Australia top Pool A ahead of South Africa while England finish second in Pool B to New Zealand.

England's semi final against the Hockeyroos, ranked one place lower than Danny Kerry's side at sixth in the world, will take place at the Major Dhyan Chand stadium at 11:00 local time (06:30am in the UK) on Monday.

The second semi final, between New Zealand and South Africa, will be played at 17:30 local time (13:00 in the UK).
