Anti-Doping Education Strategy Update

Working in partnership with UK Anti-Doping, WADA and the International Hockey Federation (FIH) the England Hockey has launched its Anti-Doping Education Strategy.  Over the next three years the England Hockey will be working with clubs and athletes in the area of anti-doping in hockey.

The England Hockey is a leading governing body in the education of all athletes, support staff and volunteers on anti-doping in hockey. While a comprehensive testing programme plays a fundamental part as a deterrent and preventative measure against doping, the England Hockey has a duty to provide athletes and support personnel with the information and technical advice they need to make informed and responsible choices in compliance with anti-doping Regulations.

The England Hockey is committed to delivering this strategy to as many people as possible to ensure that successive generations of athletes can be proud to say they are 100% ME.

The 2010-2013 strategy looks to formalise the work and education that has been carried out by the Performance and Competitions Units and integrates this with relevant grassroots projects.  Full details can be found in the 2010-2013 Anti-Doping Education Strategy or by going to
