Pam (pictured below on right), known to many in the hockey family as Auntie Pam, of Etchinghill, near Rugeley, has been playing hockey since her school days and joined Aldridge Hockey Club in 1953 where she played for many years before hanging her stick up for a whistle.  She is now a life member of the club, now Aldridge and Walsall Hockey Club, and during her time she has held numerous roles helping it to develop into a thriving club which has both a men's, women's and junior section.
