After nine adrenaline-pumping clashes yesterday the semi final line-ups were confirmed as Canterbury v East Grinstead and Reading v Beeston, to take place on January 27 at Wembley.

The winners will then go head to head in the final on the same day.

Canterbury topped the table at the end of the weekend, and were the only side not to drop any points in the final weekend of high-octane action.

They began the day with an emphatic 8-2 win over Old Loughtonians, with Ben Allberry finding the goal four times. They then went on to beat Doncaster 6-4, with Allberry again on target, this time scoring a hat-trick to take his tally for the weekend to 13 goals.

Reading finished second in the table, and although they haven’t lost a single match so far, they have drawn three.

Sunday saw them draw 6-6 with third-placed Beeston, and the two teams will meet again in the semi finals.

Reading’s other Sunday match pitted them against Loughborough Students, and they won 7-5 with Simon Mantell scoring two he took his weekend total to 12 goals.

Beeston were top of the table after the first weekend of action, but a defeat to Canterbury and draws against Reading and East Grinstead left them third.
