How did East Grinstead get to the Finals?
It was a slow start to the Men’s Premier Division for last year’s champions as they lost 6-3 to Canterbury but consecutive wins over Team Bath Buccaneers (5-2), Brooklands MU (10-5) and Sevenoaks (4-3) played a huge part in helping them qualify in fourth place.

Who will East Grinstead play in the semi-final?
They will face table toppers Hampstead & Westminster at 13:00 in what is set to be an epic game after the Londoners overcame them 7-6 in the group despite a hat-trick from Ashley Jackson.

Qualification goalscorers
Ashley Jackson (9), Ben Mackey (8), Simon Faulkner, Ross Stott (both 5), Dominic Bowdon (4), Andrew Piper, Tijn Van Groesen, Ben Alberry (all 2), Wesley Jackson, Rhys Smith (both 1)

Players to watch
Part of the England side that won Commonwealth bronze at Glasgow 2014, Ashley Jackson is a vastly experienced player with proven pedigree having amassed over 200 England and GB caps.

A key component in East Grinstead’s success as last year’s finals day – scoring what proved to be the winning goal in the final - Jackson was vital again in their qualification campaign this year, top scoring with nine goals.

Tijn van Groesen is also a highly skilled indoor player, having featured for the Holland indoor national team in the past.
