Here’s what two of our current Head Coaches had to say about the role.

“I’ve really enjoyed being part of the Performance Centre Coaching team over the last 3 years. It is a brilliant environment to support young athletes in their development as not only hockey players but as young people through the End in Mind principles. It’s really helped me with my own coaching development as well through the access to other top-quality coaches all looking to push each other to become better”
James Bateman, East Midlands Performance Centre

“I enjoy the task of raising the performance bar whilst working with talented athletes.  With a dedicated coaching team, the aim is to consistently create an intensive & pressurized training environment. This has been challenging but fun.  The discussion within the coaching team extending to athlete input has proved effective in constructing practice design and developing positive role models for hockey underpins it all.”
Clare Rodgers, Taunton Performance Centre
