In just over two weeks time we will know the finalists in this year's hotly anticipated super sixes National Indoor Hockey Finals.

The current lie of the land sees last year's runners up Surbiton hit rock bottom after the first qualifying weekend.

Ashley Jackson playing indoor hockey 2010The two clubs who aren't in the Premier Division for the outdoor game are still in contention and have both succeeded in showing some of the big Premier Division outdoor clubs how it's done. Old Loughs are in second behind 'super team' EG with St. Albans, the club which has won the National Indoor Hockey Championships the most (8 times up to 1997), lying in sixth place.

Leicester's Kerry Williams playing indoor Hockey 2010It's a bit of a surprise to see the Suffolk based club at the bottom of the table at this point in time. But unsurprisingly Slough, Bowdon and Leicester are in the top five where they have been joined by indoor newcomers Reading.
