This Week's Hockey Nation Shows

This week, the Hockey Nation 2012 roadshow rolls on to Birmingham, Nottingham and Bury St Edmunds.  So far, hockey fans, players, coaches, officials, umpires and media in six towns and cities have heard all about hockey’s fantastic plans for the build up to London 2012.

Hockey Nation2012 will see the exciting roll-out of a programme of hockey events and activities that aims to inspire the country.  All of this will come under the Hockey Nation banner, an umbrella for everything that will be great about hockey in 2012 and beyond.

We want as many people as possible to join us as part of the Hockey Nation. From the thousands of people already turning out week in, week out at hockey clubs to the millions of people who will see hockey during the Olympics.

England Hockey Chief Executive Sally Munday will be in Exeter on Monday night, Bristol on Tuesday and Guildford in Surrey on Thursday to present and discuss:

• Ticketing for the Olympic Games, Test Event and other GB matches
• Preparation of the GB hockey teams ahead of London 2012
• The Big Dribble mass hockey participation event
• Nationwide hockey roadshows
• Hockey House supporter venues for the Games
• A new Come & Meet Athlete Ambassador Programme
• Gala Olympic send-off dinner
• Five Week Frenzy where the country will come alive with hockey activity during the Olympics

The sessions start at 7:00pm and run until 9:30pm.
