Improving the Single System

Single System - JAC South 2012

Tell us your views about the Single System and win VIP hospitality to the Investec World League.

Can you believe it’s five years since England Hockey introduced the Single System? England Hockey believes it is now the right time to conduct a review and would value hearing views and experiences about the Single System.

The main objective of the review is to look at ways to develop and further improve the quality of the Single System for the benefit of talented young hockey players. If you want to find out more about the review please go to

England Hockey will be consulting directly with players, parents, coaches, clubs, schools, administrators and county and regional committees to seek your feedback.  If you have been involved in the Single System you’ll be receiving a link to a survey this week*.  For players and parents, there’s also an opportunity to contribute through one of eight Review Working Groups - click here to find out more.

We really look forward to hearing your views about the Single System and, if you complete a survey before the 17th June, we’ll enter you into a prize draw to re-live the magic of the 2012 Olympic Games with hospitality and tickets for the Investec Hockey World League – from 22-30 June 2013.  You could win one of the following:

  • Two full hospitality packages – a family of four, top price tickets and free top-class hospitality throughout the day on 22 or 23 June. Click here to find out more about hospitality at the Investec World League.
  • Five runners up prizes – each with a pair of tickets on 22 or 23 June.

Thank you in anticipation, this is an important review for England Hockey and I also hope to see many of you at the Investec Hockey World League to see England women in action.

Sally Munday,
Chief Executive Officer, England Hockey

We have experienced technical difficulties with the platform we use to send out our emails and therefore will not be able to send the survey links to coaches, schools and clubs today. We will send them as soon as the problem is resolved, which we hope will be tomorrow, 23 May.

* If you have not received a survey by 5pm Thursday 23 May and feel that you should have, please check your spam mail box, if you still have not received a survey link, please email including your name and which survey you believe you should have received or call 01628 897500.
