England U21 Men face Belgium in three match series

From the 20th-22nd of July, England U21 Men played three matches against Belgium in preparation for the Junior World Cup in Delhi later this year.

Playing all three matches in Beerschot over the course of three days, England won their first match but lost their second and third games after a resilient Belgium fought back valiantly.*

"It was a really positive exercise against a competitive and strong Belgian team. We have learnt a lot about ourselves tactically, technically, physically and mentally during the three games, which will be invaluable in our preparations for the Junior World Cup in December."

Following the recent announcement by the FIH that the Junior (Men’s) World Cup will be held in New Dehli from 6-15 December 2013, information regarding the England U21 Men’s Training Squad and Programme, will be announced as soon as possible.
