Three more heading to Hero Hockey India League

GB & England stars Barry Middleton, Simon Mantell and Adam Dixon are set to follow Ashley Jackson to India this January as the Hero Hockey India League enters its second year.

Barry Middleton, England captain and Holcombe star, went for the highest amount at over double his transfer price ($53,000) and heads to the Ranchi Rhinos to join his GB and England team-mate Ashley Jackson, who will be playing for his second year. Adam Dixon, currently playing for Beeston, transferred for $41,000 to the Dabur Mumbai Magicians along with Reading's Simon Mantell, who moved for $26,000.

Indian forward Ramandeep Singh secured the highest bid of $81,000 and will be joining the Uttar Pradesh Wizards at the start of the 2014 season, while Ryan Archibald of New Zealand got the second highest bid of $71,000 from the new team for the season: the Kalinga Lancers.
