Surbiton celebrate winning the Investec Women's Title 2015

The fixtures for the 2015-16 Investec Women's Hockey League season have now been released. The action is due to get underway on 12 September 2015 with some interesting opening day fixtures in the pipeline.

In the Investec Women's Premier Division newly-promoted East Grinstead will receive a baptism of fire as they open with a trip to reigning champions Surbiton. There are also two mouth watering local derbies with an all-Kent clash between Holcombe and Canterbury and University of Birmingham taking on Leicester. Buckingham will play host to Reading and Bowdon Hightown make the long trip down to Clifton. There is not long to wait for a repeat of last year's playoff final, either as Surbiton play host to Canterbury on 3 October.

In the West Conference, newcomers Bristol University open their campaign with the short trip to Gloucester City whilst last year's runners-up Swansea will travel to Isca University.

Slough, who won the West last season will play in the East this time out and will start with a tough trip to last year's runners-up Sevenoaks. Cambridge City, the newly promoted side make the short journey to Ipswich whilst their fellow newcomers Hampstead and Westminster head to Maidenhead to start their campaign.

Relegated Beeston begin life in the North Conference with a home clash against Ben Rhydding. Last year's Champions, Wakefield host Durham University whilst the newcomers Belper and Springfields are both at home, to Loughborough Students and Liverpool Sefton respectively.
