Your nominations from the weekend's action continue to fly in and here is your England Hockey Team of the Week. Thank you for all of your nominations!

This week includes not only stunning hockey performances but also one player who stepped up to help a team-mate in need.

Name: Dani McLean
Club: Belper HC
Nomination: Dani put in another solid performance in goal for her team as Belper kept their fifth consecutive clean sheet and are yet to concede a league goal this season.


Name: Chris Figgis
Club: Canterbury
Nomination: Chris’ team nominating him for his performance in defence for Canterbury, bossing defence aged only 13 against full grown men as his team won 2-0. 

Name: Will Gregg
Club: West Derby HC
Nomination: Will was nominated by his team for a solid defensive display but also getting on the score sheet twice from centre-back! 

Name: Kelly Burdett
Club: Timperley HC
Nomination: Kelly was named player of the match for her side making tackle after tackle and proving to be a brick wall at left-back.


Name: Crista Cullen
Club: Wimbledon
Nomination: Crista yet again showed her prowess from penalty corners as she scored a hat-trick for Wimbledon in their 6-0 win over Bedford.
Name: Dr Mo Hadian
Club: Old Silhillians HC
Nomination: Usually players are nominated for their hockey skills but Mo has been highlighted for using his professional skills as a doctor to help a team mate in need after he collided with the opposition. The player is now recovering.  
Name: Tanya Ruffles
Club: Felixstowe HC
Nomination: Tanya made her return to hockey this season after beating cancer and in her third match back she scored one and assisted two.


Name: Nick Bandurak
Club: Holcombe HC
Nomination: Bandurak was in top form as he hit a hat-trick to guide Holcombe to a 4-2 win over Surbiton and ending their 100% start to the season.

Name: Andy Pike
Club: Woking HC
Nomination: Andy hit his 250th South League goal for the club as they won 4-1 against Wimborne Wayfarers to remain top of their league. 

Name: Angie Wheelhouse
Club: Harleston Magpies
Nomination: Angie was the difference for Harlestone as they won 3-2 with Angie scoring a hat-trick to guide her side to three points.
Name: Paul Norris
Club: Edgbaston HC
Nomination: Paul underwent a triple heart bypass operation at the start of May and on Saturday played to make up the numbers and ended up scoring a hat-trick!
