IMHA World Cup Report- Barcelona 035 Women Through to Final with a game to spare.

England o35 Women continued their unbeaten run and secured a place in the World Cup final with a 2.1 win against Australia today.

The game started at a high tempo and after a run of short corners Australia conceded a penalty stroke in the first quarter which was scored by Jo Ellis to give the advantage to England.

At the break, the score remained at 1.0. England added a second in the third quarter when a strong attacking run by Jo Ellis ended with Nathalie Boyd firing the ball in the net.

Australia pressurised the England defence in the fourth quarter and managed to put away a consolidation goal.

England now face New Zealand before the final on Sunday.
