Two Flyerz Teams from England to compete at the Euro ParaHockey Championships 2019

Flyerz Team 2019
Excitingly as an official side-event of the Belfius EuroHockey Championships is the Euro ParaHockey Championships. Taking place from 19-21 August, the event is for players with learning disabilities and includes representatives from a host of different European countries.

Two Flyerz teams from England will be competing - Flyerz Hockey is the name given to disability hockey in England and is ever growing in popularity as more and more clubs offer the programme across England.

The competition will consist of three divisions; the Championship, the Trophy and the Challenge. With teams beginning with a series of games to determine which division they will compete in, ensuring teams are faciing nations of similar experience and ability. The final day of competition and closing ceremony will take place on the Belfius EuroHockey Championship pitch, in between the morning and afternoon sessions. Allowing 1,000s of spectators to cheer on their teams as they go for gold.
