Safety Recall: Grays G200 Junior Goalkeeping Helmet

Hockey equipment manufacturer Grays has issued a voluntary safety recall for its Grays G200 Junior Goalkeeping Helmet.  Please see the recall statement from the company below.

VOLUNTARY SAFETY RECALL ANNOUNCEMENT
PLEASE READ IMMEDIATELY

We have become aware of a potential safety issue with the Grays G200 Junior Goalkeeping Helmet. This potential issue may only arise in the case that a senior ball is used, contrary to the product instructions, and in the unusual circumstances of a severe impact to the top of the helmet, with the consequence that the product might not offer suitable protection.

Grays G200 Junior HelmetAs a precautionary measure, and following consultation with the Trading Standards Service, we have decided to remove the G200 Helmet from the market. We are therefore asking for all G200 Junior Goalkeeping Helmets to be returned to us for refund.

Please return the helmet(s) to your Grays stockist, in any condition, for a full refund.
