Minister wishes England good luck for Indoor World Cup

Ahead of England’s participation in the FIH Indoor World Cup, they were visited at one of their final training sessions by the Minister for Sport and the Olympics, Hugh Robertson.

The Minister dropped in on a Great Britain training session at Aldershot Garrison Sports Centre to wish the English players luck and see them in action.  A  hockey player himself, the Minister spent time talking with Indoor Head Coach Andy Halliday, Assistant Coach Bobby Crutchley and team captain Barry Middleton before meeting other members of the squad. 

Earlier in the day, he had visited England Hockey’s head office at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre where he toured the facilities with Chief Executive Sally Munday.
